Botanical Name:
Bowdichia virgilioides

Sucupira is a strong durable hardwood. One of the best exotic hardwoods for heavy foot traffic. Sucupira offers a unique grain pattern that is slightly interlocked with a medium texture. Sucupira offers the customer something "different & expressive" that will be the focus of a conversation for many years.

Apuleia Leiocarpa

The heartwood color is cream or cream white, with a pinkish or yellowish tinge. The grain is uniformly interlocked. Texture is generally coarse to medium. It is 40% harder than Red Oak, and 24% more stable.
