About this floor
Tauri heartwood ranges from cream to cream-white with a pinkish or yellowish tinge. The grain is uniformly interlocked and the texture runs coarse to medium.
It is approximately 40% harder than red oak and 24% more dimensionally stable, which makes it a practical light-toned alternative where oak would move too much seasonally.
